Himawari Real-time Web Application

One of the objectives of the Himawari-8/9 mission is to provide the countries in the Asia-Oceania regions with global view in real-time. The Himawari real-time web supports Japanese and English description. However, for citizens in this region native language helps easy and intuitive understanding on their PC or smart-phone. Unfortunately I am too poor to study any other languages than English, and need helps by native speakers who kindly translate English to his/her native languages. I need your help to prepare your own “Himawari real-time web application”.

What is expected to you is following tasks:

1. Messages Translation

Translate messages showing up on the web. They are initially in English. Download a Excel file (here) in which messages are listed in English (and other languages so far translated). Fill up blanks with your own language and send it back to our office. Your kind help will be soon reflected on our web.

2. Country Names Translation

On our web site, any country name is initially drawn in English. Download Excel file (here) in which country names (and capital names) are listed in English (and other languages so far translated). Fill up blanks with your own language and send it back to our office. Your kind help will be soon reflected on our web.

3. City Names Translation (coming soon)

Take a look of the following map web site MAP and find city names within your country. Note that the descriptions of city names are derived by automatic translation from English; errors must be included. Download a Excel and edit the incorrect city names of your country. Edited file should be sent to our office. Your kind help will be soon reflected on our web.
